Biography

Raj Hayer is a tech entrepreneur, executive coach and sought-after speaker on topics including women in technology, thought leadership, AI and innovation. 

 

Her TEDx talk ‘Addicted to AI: A Patient’s Perspective on Big Data and Technology’ has garnered over 127,000 views and as a professional speaker she has presented at global events including ‘Social Leadership & The Power of Influence’ for Dassault Systèmes, ‘Personality Diversity at Work’ for Google Cloud and ‘The Changing Landscape of Talent Acquisition’ for Siemens AG.

 

Under Raj’s leadership, TinyBox Academy has soared to international success, collaborating with industry leaders such as Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, Google and PUMA, Raj was recently announced as ‘Best CEO in the Event Management Industry’ and ‘Best Corporate Learning Culture Innovator’ by Business Worldwide Magazine.

 

With over 30 years of experience in business, project and event management, marketing and communications, as well as significant project management experience in technology development and implementation, Raj is regularly commissioned to coach C-Level executives and business leaders.

Raj regularly contributes to a variety of print and online publications on topics such as leadership, business, female equality, wellbeing, and travel, featuring in The Telegraph, Authority Magazine, Thrive, and Global Indian.

 

Born in West Bromwich, England, to parents from Indian descent and moving to Victoria, BC Canada at 15, Raj has experienced first-hand exclusion, wealth inequality, financial uncertainty and fear of poverty, driving her to become an advocate for equality, diversity, equity and inclusion.

After completing her Global Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen, and attaining a Bachelor of Commerce, project management (PMP) and motivational analyst (MSA) certifications, she spearheaded financial projects such as a simplified mortgage application with enhanced adjudication alignment, Six Sigma reporting to calculate financial impact of process improvements and pioneered the first TD Canada Trust National Mystery Shop Program.

 

Passionate about DEI and contributing to the UN SDGs, Raj invests and sits on the board of startups including WealthiHer, an AI-driven technology app for women to build financial independence, and Hope, an AI-enabled therapy matching tool that will accelerate how the world solves the mental health crisis.

 

As founder of Mayfly Maven, she hosts luxurious retreats where attendees  benefit from blending coaching and self-development with empowerment and business strategy.

 

Raj is also hosting the first Wayfinders Summit in Toulouse on June 14, 2024, a global event for women to take action and design the life they want.
